Causes of CTD for me have been:
>Corrupt pilot file, over 1 mg. located in the resource/pilots folder
>running Adobe Acrobrat Reader, then closing it BUT still having it run in the background
>Roger Wilco, which I do not run because of conflicts
I would suggest making sure you only have the eccentials running in MSCONFIG. Update your video drivers. Update DirectX.
