Darker Realms Character Guide

DWF Character Guide ® 2006-

This board is for letting others know of your preferences on your char(s) should they want to interact. It isn't to list your accomplishments, titles, history, rant, blah blah and blah. The basics are to know your opponent, your feud's character..best way is to read their bios for their moveset, size, height style etc. If they don't have a bio up, email them and ask. When players come in, don't underestimate them and don't treat them as newbies regardless if they're new to the fed or not. Alot of our players are excellent writers and nearly all come from other feds, bringing with them a world of experience so keeping that in mind, do it to it and have fun!

Damien, Angelica, And Demonica

by

A Guide to Damien, Angelica, and Demonica

First, a little reminder for the children at home

For all my characters, do not God-Mode me, because I will give back as good as I get and ya wont like it because I will destroy you. :D

Damien:

Damien is a highly skilled in ring performer who generally tends to rely on a power/technical/submission game. So outside of a flying clothesline or the occasional launching over the ropes, dont expect him to be a Mexican jumping bean.

When in a promo with Damien:

He is not against trading witty barbs, however he will not sit there and glare at his opponent while they run off at their mouth. When he decides to shut them up, he will throw a punch at their jaw and try tyo feed them the mic. Seriously. Dont have him stewing over yer words unless ya want my reply to have him just shrugging and pummeling your character, with plenty of back and forth action of course, as GODMODING IS WRONG :D

When Damien is backstage, he is never alone, if he is not accompanied by Angelica and Demonica, you can be almost assured that Viper or Rage and Nobody will also be present. He knows better than to just wander around all by his lonesome.

Angelica and Demonica:

Both of these women are Damiens Childer Meaning he has embraced them.

This means that they are not gonna be some frail little flower.

Angelica is the valet of the group and is similar looking to Shelly Martinez (Ariel in WWE, Salinas in TNA). She will most likely not be willing to get into the ring, unless it is to interfere in the match. You can feel free to hit her, knock her down, whatever, but remember. She is a woman and she will cut off yo balls. She will tend to back down, not out of fear, but to give her Master or her cohort Demonica a free chance at a hit

Angelica is also extremely loyal to Damien, and will not betray him. She may feign attraction to another man, but thanks to blood bonding, she aint gonna tickle his pickle.

Demonica, like angelica, is a valet, however she is just crazy enough to jump in the ring and get physical at the drop of a hat. Appearance wise, think of her as looking like Daffney (google if ya dont know). Like Angelica, she has been blood bound to Damien and is fiercely loyal to him. Unlike Angelica, who may feign fear, if someone tries to intimidate Demonica, she will lash out, particularly with a balled up fist into the groin. Like Angelica, feel free to knock Demonica around, but she will get up and she will come after you.

Both women are gifted with minor ability to control shadows, no where near as potent as Damiens as well as a higher degree of strength and speed.

Interlude II: In his mind's eye, he sees...

by

...the Second.

The First had happened among His own people, beginning with fall of the demigod warriors and ending with the establishment of an eternal celebration of the natural abilities of man: the Olympic Games. Now the Second would happen among the people of a city that is also eternal, those great inheritors of kingdoms of Ilion who brought the civilized world under its banners in less than six hundred years on their march from kingdom to republic to empire. They subdued their neighbors. They conquered their enemies. And they crushed those who lived in His land, the descendants of the children of Herakleis, absorbing the wonders of the purified civilization that had arisen there--including its pantheon of gods. Myths were fused together and reinvigorated, and the history of His Tribe enjoyed a kind of renaissance during a golden age of newborn empire. Perhaps it started there--men reaching back into the past in quest of something exotic, unprepared for what lay past the darkness of the First.

If the objective of the First had been to teach His Tribe a lesson, that of the Second was to drive remembrance of Them forever from the minds of men. And the vehicle was eagerly presenting itself. The worship of the ancient pantheon came to contest with that of a new religious sect, a faith centered upon one who was born under the star that gives Him His fire, and in praise of whom would in its time be written the prayers that would give Him His Name. A so-called holy emperor relocated his capital in the East when this city proved resistant to his conversion, and a so-called apostate emperor proved that until the old religion could be purged from the earth, man's capacity to overreach himself remained an ever-present danger, even if in the name of intellectual pursuit. The Healer's job was by no means done. But to cleanse a sickness completely, one must attack it where it lives. For the world to live, Babylon must fall.

Thus the Averter of Evil turned his all-seeing eyes towards the city of the Romans.

How many times did this once-proud city open her gates to the Gothic hordes, buying her stay of execution with gold and land and places of honor within her courts? How many barbarians exerted their will upon the throne that once ruled the world, shifting politics and population and creating instability throughout the disparate regions of the western empire? Eventually, the Odoacer the Ostrogoth sent purple of the West itself back to the Hellenic East, to the emperor Zeno at Konstantinopolis. The barbarians preferred to remake Italia and the other western territories in their own image, and they had little desire to humor the Roman's delicate sensibilities. The power vacuum in the city itself lasted just long enough for the desperate Romans to fill it with the one figurehead left--the Bishop of Roma, first among the Christian Patriarchs, now regent not only of a mystical society but also of an earthly one, with all the pomp and ceremony it required.

The last vestiges of His Tribe passed into obscurity, never to pose a direct threat to humanity again. And in Their sleep They are tormented day and night forever.

So was the Second.

Interlude I: In his mind's eye, he sees...

by

...the First.

It had happened among His peoplenot His own Tribe, those great experimenters responsible for His permanently altered state, but those wanderers of the steppes who came to worship Him and His own, who had found themselves on a peninsula without a word to describe the sea. They had words for salt, for water, for flat expanse; they had to steal one of His words, one of the few traces of His People left in the world. Perhaps it started theremen assuming for themselves what was not theirs to assume, in a lazy attempt to understand the world around them. Or perhaps it began with His Tribe, who strained the bounds of earthly life too much, as the ichor in His veins could attest.

Or perhaps it began on that saddest of yesterdays all those thousands of years ago at Amyklai, the day that the wind blew the discus back and struck that beautiful one in the head, His first companion since the change, first friend, firstlove? Yes, it was love unquestionably that made Him choose, from all endless possibility, to raise a new tear-stained flower from the dying boys blood. The boy was changed, made to exist for all time in a new state, just as He had been. In all eras to come, the flower would bloom as yet another remnant of the time when His Tribe walked the earth. But even in the moment He did it, He knew He had done wrong, that He had perverted the natural order just as Those who had polluted His newborn body had done ages before. This evil lived on in all His brothers and sisters, in His parents and Their brothers and sisters, as these sons and daughters of immortals came upon the daughters and sons of the people, creating an age of giants among men, the half-divine heroes of myth. And now the evil made itself manifest through Him, His Tribes Guardian of Truth, in the form of a little flower springing from a pool of blood and tears. It was all wrong. And it could not be allowed to continue.

In that moment was the Far-striker born. And in that moment were His plans begun.

The initial objective was simple: to teach His Tribe a lesson. But in His altered state, gazing out across the planes of possibility, He knew that objective was far too limited. His Tribe was only one symptom of a much larger pestilence. After all, they had devised for themselves in those ages past the means to escape the confines of nature and, in Their minds, return to a pure state of insubstantial oneness. But as They were imperfect beings, so too were Their methods imperfect. And here They were, trapped in a prison of Their own making: boundless and deathless and all too physical. He could see that men would always aspire to bring themselves back to such a supernatural state, unaware of the immense damage that would be done to themselves in the process. Surely He could not treat only one symptom, even of a chronic illness. No, a Healer treats the illness itself. He would shine a light upon the minds of men, a light seen clearest in darkness. And so came to pass what He knew would be the First.

How many men never made it home from Ilion, their blood spilt on the field of battle or their bodies consumed by the surge of the sea? How many women died childless, waiting in vain for their men to return to them? Even among the great kings, only one returned safely, and then to be butchered by a faithless wife and her lover upon their return. They in turn would be put to the sword by her son Orestas, in revenge for the death of his father, and the trauma would drive him mad. Ships of state were left rudderless, and without helmsmen. Administrations were left to their own devices, though twenty years of war had exhausted the coffers and the sea had claimed most of the spoils. Population rapidly declined as the childless widows and the remaining male administrators died off, as the years of war had also exhausted the populace of a generation of fathers. What little literacy there had been was gradually lost. Only Sparta, with Amyklai in its shadow, remained more or less intact, watching as the world around it disintegrated. The entire system collapsed just in time to see the children of Herakleis, once cast out accused as bringers of plague and now into its third inbred generation, return to claim empty kingdoms and begin to establish its ideas of the gods, twisted variants of the original truth, more philosophical, metaphorical, abstract.

Much of His Tribe, having had a crushing blow dealt to Their vanity with the loss of all Their glorious unnatural progeny and of the truth of Their glorious unnatural race, simply rendered Themselves inert with despair. They dug Their own graves deep in the bowels of the earth; the openings to these deep caves would provide fodder for poets for centuries to come. Beyond death, They slumber fitfully for all eternity in three tombs, never again to interfere in the ways of men. Only He remained to ensure that They would never rise again. They never have. And They never will.

So was the First.

How to handle a Viper

by

While a Viper is a wonderous and volatile creature, they can have a nasty disposition and it can turn deadly if you don't handle with care. It's a Viper for pish sakes, even kittens have claws. Vipers just have bigger claws and sharper fangs.

Vipers will generally leave you alone as long as you don't poke them with a stick. Poke em and they'll shine that stick, turn it sideways and stick it straight up your ass lol or simply slit your throat with it. They're quite vicious and sadistic at times

So that said, here are the instructions, the do's and don'ts on how to handle and care for your friendly neighborhood serpent.

Do call her out, chances are very good that she will come out to say hello smirk

Don't be sexist. The female can be every bit as deadly as the male and is.

Do treat her as a serious competitor because she is.

Do take her seriously in a match, she's not gonna do something stupid like work on your thumb, she's the type that'll just break it off and throw it to one of your fans, try and get that back

Don't make Viper swear like a sailor, she doesn't swear that often so don't have her rattling off obscenities.

You may call her a bitch but do not call her a whore, slut or any other vulgarity, that is a definite don't.

Viper rarely shows fear as she's gone against some pretty scary characters in her lifetime so don't paint her as being afraid of you unless you ask if it's okay. This doesn't mean that she doesn't fear ever, she'll just try her best to not show it.

Do not have her beg off, she wouldn't ever do that and if she did back away, it'd only be to get some momentum to come right back at you like a freight train.

Don't flash a cross at her, religious symbols have little to no effect on her given her lineage. Special circumstances can apply, just ask. Also don't hit her with sunshine unless you're offering her a cold drink with an umbrella in it. The sun has no effect on her and she can go out in it, enjoys it quite a bit I hear

However, beheading and fire can harm/kill her like it can any other creature.

In the ring, she's very aerial, very quick and given the choice between which move will hurt more, she'll always choose the more vicious even putting herself at high risk to do it

More to come..if there's anything specific you'd like to know that's not in the bio, ask.

One more

by Viper

Don't leave me hanging, like my cold blooded namesake and as in real life, you leave me hanging over a week, I will easily move on without you and not acknowledge whatever we were doing.

It's rude and I won't have it. If I can spend my precious time with you and you can't spend yours, you're out. Gone, you have ceased to be and it will be your loss. I will find better people than you to play with.

History -
Bobo is an Asiatic Black Bear....As a baby he was captured and sent to the moscow zoo where he became quite an attraction...during the cold war he was enlisted by the KGB to infiltrate the United States...his cover was a traveling circus....here he was trained in the art of fine combat as well as other "tricks" such as driving a car, walking the tightrope, smoking a pipe, getting shot out of a cannon, Dancing, etc,etc,etc,etc... after the fall of the soviet union...Bobo moved back to Siberia...in an attempt to return to the life of a normal bear.....Sadly he was targeted by some remnant KGB...his Girlfriend was killed and he was forced to come back into action to right this wrong and expose them....his story made world wide news...a book loosely based on his life was made...which eventually became a movie staring Matt Damon.....

This success led Bobo to have his own talk show...where Guests discussed topics of a varied nature....there was a controversy during a boot camp episode when a little girl tried to kill her mother and Bobo ate her whole on live TV.....all charges were dropped...however Bobo would never work on national TV again....that is...until he visited and old friend...who convinced him to join DWF..

if there's anything else I forgot to add...well...erm...eh...email me :P

Name: Guy Fierce

Position: DWF Vice President

Hometown:Los Angeles,California

Height:6'1"

Weight:225 lbs

Style:Tech/cruiser...a spot fest artist..(I'm really just putting this part cause I don't want to lose the wrestling part of his profile)

The Momento - A halfnelson face buster into a crossface variation....

Other moves -

Monte Cristo,Triple Jump Moonsault,Wheelbarrow Bulldog,Dragon Whip,Front Suplex Buster,Single Arm DDT,Inverse DDT Backbreaker,etc,etc,etc....

An indy wrestler who could never get a break, Guy was thrust into his position thanks to a professional sounding name. He's basically your generic suit type. Used to worry about the bottom line above all else...but has now come to enjoy the life of an executive who doesn't really do anything but drink cocktails...... Very high class though. Snobish. He's a tweener right now though...so he could side with either the heels or the faces...or sometimes neither and make a decision right down the middle. His sexual preference is ambiguous at best..and he enjoys playing that up.....

Ye can all use him fairly liberally...he can be portrayed as a posh idiot if ye like...or more serious if your situation dictates it...

How to handle the Syndicate, otherwise known as The Outcasts

by

The basics behind each character

Mr Van Halen

First off, he's an Immortal Vampire (see history in Bio) who can walk in the sun. He bides his time and takes appropriate action when needed. His preferred weapon of choice is the crossbow he carries. He has the ability to trick others into their own doom by manipulating them. His Butcher's Hook helps him feed as it has a sharpened point to gain access to the precious blood.

Secondly, he does evil for both his own means and for Satan (see history again). He wishes to have his own piece of the action, and joined with Fury when she appeared.

Thirdly, as a shrew warrior he will know when the time is right to pounce, and do so viciously.

Fury

The self proclaimed Goddess of Flames, she is unafraid of a challenge and as an outcast from the gods realm is building an army of evil creatures, to make a challenge on said realm.

She can create and manipulate fire and when angered moved faster than the speed of light.

Shadow

Shadow is essentially a vigilante, working for payment in whatever form he can grasp. He joined The Outcasts as Fury offered him a piece of the god's realm to himself, which he feels he deserves since he helped build the realm in the first place.

His bodygaurd is made entirely of shadow creatures who attack from the shadows, to create havoc.

His weapon is a Shadowhammer which shatters everything within a 10 meter radius.

Approach this group with caution and respect, or on your own head be it.

Forgot this was here

by

Robert Mobidus

Robert Morbidus is the self proclamed True Living Vampire, who had a desire to kill all in his path before he was convinced by Shadow to control his anger, before setting out on a quest to find The Dark Blade. In short he is a sadist who will not leave the ring unless he has had chance to feed on the blood of others (even going as far as ripping apart a referee once a match was over).

His new 'toy', The Dark Blade, makes him a fierce opponent, since it will do ten times the damage of a normal blade.

Profiles and rp styles in and out of the ring

by

First and fore most by all intents and purposes Rune is the leader...

Rune Nova is cocky and arrogant as he is beautiful. The young heart throb is nothing more than a smart mouthed quick witted razor sharp tongue. In the ring he's a very fast and highly talented cruiserweight. Always willing to take high risks and very sound in scientific wrestling. A very accomplished mat technician and very aware of his own abilities.

Shadow Master. A quiet no nonsense brawler who loves pain and anguish. Thrives in hardcore, street fights, and pretty much any kind of match that he can use weapons. 6'2" and 230lbs. This shoulder length blode pretty much is stylised after Al Snow. His finisher is a springboard Sleeper Suplex he aptly named The Darkening.

Doomsday. A very large and hairy individual. At 6'10" and pushing 345lbs. who likes to over power and bully his opponents. He holds a series of high impact power moves. From pumphandle slams to military presses. This big man loves to use his weight to his advantage and has a very vicious finisher he calls the Doomsday Driver. The SSD on Day of Reckoning. a.k.a the Screwdriver.

Genocide. At 7'4" this lumbering brute is as deadly as he is silent. He rarely if ever speaks and is never without his serogate brother Doomsday. Protective of his friends and feircely loyal to his leaders cause. All the typical moves that bellie a giant with his finisher being a chokeslam modified into a Spinebuster slam pin he calls the End.

Anything else will be added later.

The Do's and Don't of the one called The WyldChylde

by

Since the dawn of time there have come warriors and... oh wait thsi isn't an rp... lol

okay school is in peoples... to know how to handle Wyld during a match or a cross post rp...

When he is able to speak he usually is one to add onto someones line to take em off their train of thought... ie: "You gimme any more lip you poumpous...." (cutting them off by snoring into the mic)

He respects his opposition but rarely if ever openly... he never backs away from anyone considering his own personal career (I also like to include other efeds but only mentioning them in subtle ways... so if ya hung with him or new of him in other efeds bring it up... history is always good in my opinion)

you know that dumb guy who is too proud to back away from being outnumbered and usually goes into a frey without thinking about it... thats him...

if anything else comes to mind i'll post it up later... please feel free to ask more... always open to more feedback and helping out whn and if i can

The missing bits

by

Okay I'm back again...

So this is WyldChylde... In the ring when handling him always make sure he's always scouting the next move even if coutered... He does his homework like most who are obsessed with the sport... When on the defensive always know he can handle alot more punishment thats dealt out... how else do you think he earned his handle... he's untamable and will do anything and everything he possibly can to stay on top or at least up to speed with the one in the drivers seat...

I'm not saying he's infallable... it's the fact he can take a great deal of punishment and somehow when everything is said and done he can find a way to squeek a victory... a very cunning individual... but know this and know it well... when he crashes and burns he crashes and burns... also another way of how he earned his handle

Outside of the ring...

He goes by Conner... Always correcting those that refer to him by his ring name... after all Wyld does have a social life or tries to when time allows or permits and when he's not busy carrying on with his other passion(singing and playing in his band The Son's Of Gaia)... outside of the ring away from the business one can always find him in some quiet bar sipping brews and playing pool... He's a very open and passionate guy who talks more shop than he does anything else... but he's always joking and a very welcoming guy...

He has alot of wit and is usually just out to have fun and bring a smile to everyones face... but if double crossed or angered he will not hesitate to throw down to make things right...

one thing forsure though is he is VERY LOYAL to those he cares about... his friends and family and most importantly his partner... mess with her or catch her at times he would deem inappropriate and he will attack attack and attack until they flee the scene or he forces them too

Over all if you want a particular style he's a mix of power house, martial artist and submission wrestler... he just likes to hold onto his old high flying moves just to help liven up a crowd if things get slow or boring...

if more questions come up just ask away and i'll try fill in more blanks if more come up

Okay just in retrospect

by

The Style of wrestler i'm portraying with him is a fringe character...

at six foot two and weighing two hundrend and eighty pounds he's obviously a big boy....

He's a known powerhouse that can hoist fling throw toss suplex german dragon and even tiger bomb guys bigger than he is out of their space boots... and if their not wearing space boots then that proves it more because he suplexed em or threw them so hard they never had the chance of wearing any lol...

bottom line is this...

he's a grappler who can fly with the best of em... not saying he can hurricanrana folks but When Chaos Falls, it should be enough to prove he can fly with em...

He can ground pound you UFC style and he doesn't fuck around in that either... he's always in for the kill...

powerhouse.... need i say more... the guy is used to battling giants...

and always a high impact wrestler... mat tactics or just straight out big moves he can dish it out...
