Darker Realms Character Guide

DWF Character Guide ® 2006-

This board is for letting others know of your preferences on your char(s) should they want to interact. It isn't to list your accomplishments, titles, history, rant, blah blah and blah. The basics are to know your opponent, your feud's character..best way is to read their bios for their moveset, size, height style etc. If they don't have a bio up, email them and ask. When players come in, don't underestimate them and don't treat them as newbies regardless if they're new to the fed or not. Alot of our players are excellent writers and nearly all come from other feds, bringing with them a world of experience so keeping that in mind, do it to it and have fun!

Interesting times

by Kunoichi

Soon many DWF wrestlers were to open their mail and find the image of the Black Scorpion. What On Earth could this mean?

All,about Gideon

by

Gideon is an immortal and can't be killed easily unless you find a way to completely destroy his body to the point where he can't regenerate.

Don't treat him like a pushover. Gideon is well versed in martial arts and wrestling he can kick your ass if you get on his bad side

If he uses the redeemers touch don't act like your immuned. if the character has killed before he will feel that pain that he or she inflicted tenfold

Don't use racial slurs like spick being that he is puerto rican.

don't try to use his sword against him. if your evil you can't touch it simple as that.

Don't try to be little him unless you want the same treatment.

User guide to Kane2000 (Part 1)

by

I'll make sure it's all self explanatory!!

Kane2000 (In the ring)

He has the ability to block off any mind games attempted by superstars or has that Kane like ability to shrug off pain with ease, although he can be worn out after a while, but with an adrenalin rush, he's back in the game!! He's a human/vampire/cyborg hybrid and is an immortal person!! He relishes the big match scenario and is more than prepared to test himself against the very best the DWF has to offer. He's mainly on the power game, but can also have that excellent technical ability, the submissions to make a guy tap out and a high flying ability which makes people look on in awe. (Hence the Sprinigboard Shooting Star Press finisher!)

Kane2000 (out the ring)

A married man with a son (and another child on board. Kane2000 is a family man outside the ring. He also plays in an independant heavy metal/screamo band with his brother Jason, Steve Jones and Chris Blade. He likes soccer, cars, poker, pool, weight lifting (holding various records) and his wrestling school as he teaches people the basics of wrestling.

The past:

As explained in the bio, he was one of the top commanding officers in his army. The Red Dog Barracks in Manchester, England. His hybrid body and soul was as a result of an experiment, which resulted in people being killed! That still haunts him at most days. He's also bumped into Mr. smash in CCW and Smash tried (but failed) to derail his World title run! He has a few more skeletons in the closet, which will be done a.s.a.p.

(More to follow soon!)

Re: User guide to Kane2000 (Part 1)

by

Do: Feel free to call me out! Kane2000 relishes a challenge, especially if a title is on the line.

Do: in most cirmumstances, mention his past. This will only provoke him further, then you'll see how psychotic he can be!!

Do: Go into drinking contests, mosh pit challenges, etc. He has fun with his life like everyone else and is always up for a laugh!

Do: Make him bleed whenever necessary! this makes it more and more interesting. He may not feel pain as much, but he gets really pissed off at the sight of his own blood and does limp like everyone else with injuries.

DO: Have technical moves in the match, if your superstar is very technical, as Kane2000s variety is mixed and the matches would need a lot of flavour!!

DO: Take matches against him to the extreme. As you may have seen in most of my CCW matches (especially those for the Hardcore, DeathCage and World Heavyweight championships) weapons are always involved and in most circumstances, explosions take place, so make it as sick and twisted as possible.

DO: Random fight scenes before or after matches. It creates controversy and a future rivalry may occur!!

DO NOT: Kill him. He is an immortal, and it will just piss me off if you try that stuff.

DO NOT: Treat him with disrespect. He has been brought up to respect people, regardless of what's happened in his life.

DO NOT: Kidnap his family, hold them to ransom or kill them (the opening two will be up to me, but the third option is a definate no-no!) It would hurt him extremely as he has emotions too! Only do the first two whenever I give permission and when the stakes are high!

There could be more (whenever I think of some, lol!) But these are the basics.

Rock on dudes!!!

How to handle The Syndicate, Evil, Inc

by The Syndicate: Evil, Inc

Damien Death:

First of all, bear in mind that Damien Death is not an "official". He is a ring veteran, he is skilled in several styles of combat stemming from centuries of existence, and he does not anger easily. Someone coming out and running their mouth at him will not piss him off. He would show mild amusement at best.

Secondly, He is not a god by any means, but he is also not some pushover. So do not godmode me, unless you want a bit back at ya in return and ya want the match/conflict to suck nuts lol

Third, his motivations are his own, and he will use any means to achieve them. In the ring he will cheat and he will use underhanded tactics.

His gear: Do not break his walking stick. Do not even try.

Nobody:

Nobody is a bit more relaxed and laid back. Like Damien he is highly skilled in the ring. He will not sit fuming at someone, more likely he will slip into their lockeroom and leave a special explosive paint surprise in their gym bag.

He has a fascination with setting traps, preferably death traps but he is not above the occasional mean spirited practical joke.

Crymzon:

He is a fucking pyro. He loves to play with fire, even manipulating it to his own ends. He is primarily Technical highflying as opposed to the technical/brawl style of Nobody

Nottingham:

Does not say a damn thing unless he has something to say.

He is pure power, no more, no less.

On the whole, Just don't do anything that anyone else here has said no on. Unless you want me to return the favor, which I would prefer not to do as it tends to kill a good story arc.

The In's and Out's to Kalysto...

by

Ermph. I guess I should lay out what Kalysto is like... she’s pretty insistent upon it right now. She wants to be completely understood. Honestly, how hard can it be to figure the blonde out? She’s not that hard to understand... pretty much common sense will tell ya all you need to know, but of course... I must do as my muse says...

In-Ring Kalysto

Kalysto can change and adapt to styles at will, knowing bits and pieces from various ones. She’s accustomed to going all-out, taking risks and even putting herself in danger if the result takes her opponent out. Being raised on rough streets and to fight for survival everyday, you will not find Kaly cowering for anything. She rises to any challenge, against any foe. That’s not to say she doesn’t fear anything, because she is human and has fears just as anyone else does. Fact of the matter is, she refuses to let them show if she can help it.

The woman has endurance, and possesses annoyingly-high determination. She takes as much as she gives, more in some cases, and she will not back down ever. On top of that, her pain tolerance is high. She does grimace in pain and the like, but her body (a joint, a limb, etc) must be continuously worked upon to weaken said part of body. She will not be made to scream in a first posting round, and maybe not even in the second, depending on how high-risk the posts go.

She is not adverse to fighting dirty; when she’s a heel, what else could be more natural? However, she has limits, too. Obviously, she can’t overpower a hulking mass of flesh and muscle, but she’ll give it her all to try. She will use her femininity to an advantage if she can. Mostly, though, she uses her gods-given talent to get her through. She’s been champion for other companies, so she knows how the system works. She knows what will get her to the top, and she’ll fight tooth-and-nail to get there.

In-Person Kalysto

By nature, Kalysto is a tough woman. She won’t be pushed over, nor steam-rolled out of the way. So deal with a tall, blonde woman being in your way still if you bump into her or try to brush her aside to get by. Meanwhile, she IS a woman, so she’s devious when she wants to be, and rather cunning and intelligent (I was once told she’s a blonde with a brunette’s brain...).

Personality-wise, Kaly is more the playful type unless she’s reflecting, training, or playing mother hen to her partner. She’s a down-to-earth woman, likes to go out and have a few beers while playing pool, or do the ‘girly thing’ and tan by the pool. She’s good with banter, likes to tease, and can insult when it’s called for. She has good humor, and will take good-natured ribbing with a grin, returning it just as good. She’s fiercely loyal to those she’s befriended or attached to; any sort of unnecessary violence or verbal assault toward them, especially her tag team partner, will earn you a visit in the very least, a very mean beating in the most.

Respect and trust is earned, not freely given, when it comes to Kalysto. One must work on earning her trust and respect, and once earned, she’ll admit to it. Lose it, however, and one will be very, very lucky to ever gain it back. She’s not quite a hard-ass, really; she believes in second chances, but it may take several tries before the reprieve is given.

Do’s and Don’ts of Kalysto

DO call her out; she rather enjoys answering challenges.

DO feel free to call her a bitch; it’s almost a trademark for her.

DO have her swear a bit, but not an obscene amount; she often peppers her speech with certain favored words.

DO take her seriously as a competitor; just because she’s female doesn’t mean she can’t wrestle or perform in the ring.

DO try to rile her up; it gives her more motivation to prove her stuff and silence you.

DO take it to her in a match; Kaly can take everything dished out to her, and will give back just as much.

DON’T kill her; I’m attached to her, and I’d say so is her partner.

DON’T ignore her presence at ringside; she is an asset to her partner whether in a tag match or simply accompanying him to a single’s bout.

DON’T godmode; please have respect for both the characters and the players, and let the game remain fun.

DON’T have Kaly screaming the instant you start beating on her; she’s made of tougher stuff than that.

DON’T have her show fear or have her cowering; if she fears you, I’ll write it out but not show it.

DON’T give Kaly powers; she hasn’t found her’s quite yet.

DON’T call her anything that is degrading and vulgar to women; she is not a slut, cunt, whore, broad, or anything of the like... bitch being the exception.

DON’T paint Kaly to be some simpering valet; she’s a competitor, and will prove herself time and time again to be a good one.

DON’T write Kaly as being stupid or clueless; she’s blonde, not missing a brain.

I’m sure there’s more than that, which I will add on in the future, but if you have any questions meanwhile, feel free to ask me.

Making Mischief.......................

by

Mischief is a moody unpredictable creature so I don't even know how she will react have the time. She likes pulling pranks just for shock value. She has a wonderful sense of humor and can be quite playful. She also can be very deadly if you tick her off. If she cares about you she cares and will do just about anything for the select few she does care for.

She is a witch, come lately, vampire. That means she call up all the elements, cast spells, throw fire balls, and do all the other wonderful stuff most vamps can do. She is impervious to light, holy water, crosses and garlic. She can be harmed just like any other vamp.

Do: Feel free to call her out, more than likely she will come.

Do: Show her using emotions. She is not oblivious to pain. She hurts, she bleeds, she gets angry. However, she can regenerate so no, you can't kill her. I try to keep her, somewhat, humanistic. She is not all seeing or knowing and she isn't a god.

Do: show that she has to work hard in a match, IE: if she is trying to reverse a hold etc.
Do: feel free to call her a bitch. She can be one.

She respects talent whether she likes the individual or not.

When posting in a match I do try to post back and forth so that she gets her ass kicked too, unless it is the finishing match of a post and she is against a much bigger opponent and is scheduled for the win. Then she will need to hammer away and the bigger opponent to secure the win.

She doesn't not use her powers unless in a Darkweight match unless the opponent she is facing decides to break the rules with his or her special abilities.

She is handy with a whip, a sword and a kendo stick. Those are her weapons of choice if opponent has an equivalent.

She can be very annoying and more than likely will do everything in her power to make you annoyed because then you start making mistakes.

DO NOT: call her a cunt, slut or whore as I do not believe any woman should be called these things. If you do that I guarantee you I will either ignore your post or I will post and you will wish I hadn't.

DO NOT: Have her cowering in fear. There maybe some situations in which she might but they would have to be extenuating circumstances. (ask me or if I am not available ask Viper)

DO NOT: Do not treat her like a brainless piece of eye candy.

Because she has the strength of a vamp she can do be just as powerful as some of you bigger guys.

A NOTE ON SEBASTIAN...........

Sebastian is Mischief's servant. He is near and dear to her heart. Now, you can kidnap Sebastian or threaten him even terrorize him a little.... if you harm one hair on his head. I swear I will hunt you down and gut you like a fish.

Sebastian is gay and is very loving and easy going but can be a drama king. He is a fashion maestro. Hell, he picks out Mischief's clothes most of the time. He does not ,usually, accompany her to the ring. (If you have more questions about Sebastian feel free to ask me or If I am not available Viper as she has a good feel for his character.)

Well, that's if for now. If I think of anything else I will ammend it later as necessary.

BTW, she is 5ft 8 inches and weighs about 135 - 140 pounds. (If it helps since I have not gotten her bio up yet and it is on my list of things to do)

How not to get burned

by

Ok, here we go with the DO's and DON'Ts of an alcoholic trasmuter. Keep in mind that he fights because he likes to, not out of anything to prove.

In Ring Style

Joe is something of a tactition in the ring, trying to wear people down with suplexs and knees before going in for the big moves. Favorite for Joe to work are the knees and the neck, in preperation of using the Trinity, or any of his Finishers really.

Joe likes to try new things in the ring, even if he's unsure of they're effectiveness. In hardcore matches Joe prefers to use the Hurling stick above all else, for it's speed and power. He will of course use other weapons should they be more effective. Should his oppanant get ahold of the hurling stick, Joe will fight like a man on fire to get it back and to then brutalize the thief.

Joe is stong enough to lift most superstars, and uses DDT's and kicks to the knee's of the ones he stuggles with.

This goes for pretty much anytime people take his things. While Joe trys his best to keep his cool and fight scientifically, when he loses his temper he fights like a berserker, stopping only if he's on the verge of DQ.

Joe is not a stranger to the top rope in times when he thinks it may be useful, though he usually only goes up when preparing for Irish Styles as of yet unnamed double team move.

In Person

Dry, slightly bitter and sarcastic are the name of the game here. But with respect for others talents. Joe has a fair bit of ego to him, but not so much so that attacks to it will be more than annoying to him. Joe has a quit and sharp wit, which he enjoys showing off, though he won't necassarily be drawn out by insults.

DO's And DON'Ts

DO-Use my powers in RP scenes, the more creative the better

DON'T- Have Joe slur his words no matter how much he's had to drink. Due to the natures of his powers, it's very hard for him to get to the point of actual inebreation.

DO- Have him try to get to that point

DO- Be as bitingly sarcastic as you can. Joe is a dry as they come

DO- Read my bio for a list of sample moves I do.

DO- Have Joe be respectful of other peoples abilities, if not the person themselves.

DON'T- Have Joe ambush you with out a damn good reason. He prefers to do his fighting in the ring.

DON'T- Shoot, break, burn, or otherwise destroy my Hurling stick. Theft maybe for storyline, but I'd like to keep my signature weapon in one piece.

DO- Feel free to have Joe curse, just not every other word. He's an intelligent guy at the core, albiet an intelligent guy who uses the f word.

DON'T- Have Joe outwardly show fear. This isen't to say he doesn't get scared, but that he ignores his fear 9.5 times out of 10. After all, he know's he tough.

DON'T- Have Joe be on any type of hard drug, despite his background. Keep it to beer and liquor.

The King of the World.

by

Here’s how to handle the King. [ Don’t think I’m an asshole for what I say here lmao ]

In the ring:
Gojinn is relentless in attacks. He NEVER takes time to taunt. The only time he takes a small break is before the SpinOut{RKO} when he drops to one knee behind you, and slides along the mat, staying out of sight, and then stands to spin you around and deliver it. He knows reversals to any and every move (obviously not EVERYTHING is escapable: ie- Breakers pinning ankle lock) and can quickly turn that move into something for himself. He can especially hit the SpinOut from any point in the match. If you’re lifting him up, he’ll break free and drop you.

He’s suicidal and will do anything, no matter how stupid it seems, to teach an opponent how suicidal he is. He tends to go for those high risk moves at times, especially in hardcore situations.

Gojinn rarely ventures to the top rope. The only time for the most part is for a Swanton Bomb or his finisher frog splash, the Flatliner.

Gojinn is quick on his toes, and very agile. He’s strong enough to lift all superstars, but can’t exactly lift the ring (so there is a limit obviously). He’s great at changing the momentum of the match in his favor. If you’ve dominated most of the match, all it will take is one reversal for him to snap mentally and quickly get back up in a roar.

Gojinn doesn’t get caught up with distractions especially with someone coming out in the middle of a match or something along those lines. He’s got tunnel vision at time, but is still aware of what’s happening. If he realizes a manger is messing with his match, he will do whatever he can to take of that person, without turning his back on his opponent and screwing the whole match up.

He’s totally fearless. Doesn’t matter who you are. Gojinn fears no one and nothing. He doesn’t get surprised either. He’s familiar with people’s music and entrances so he knows who you are and what you’re doing there.

In person:

Gojinn is obviously a cocky son of a bitch, but with good reason. He’s done a lot in his short time, and that’s important to him, because when he started, he was pretty much told he’d amount to nothing. Since, he’s been on a mission to destroy all in his path to glory.

He’s one of the founding member of the Outsiders, and no matter how nay times the group seems to fall apart, it doesn’t and won’t. He considers it a family, and doesn’t plan to screw them over anytime soon.

On the mic, he’s good with his comebacks and insults, and a lot of times won’t take a speech sitting down. Just because you end the conversation, doesn’t mean a thing. He’ll be the one to end it most times.

DOs and DON’Ts

DO – feel free to challenge me whenever you like. Can’t say I’ll accept every one, but most times I will.

DO – feel free to contact me about any and every thing you have a question about

DO – fear me. I’m not a person to be trifled with.

DO – feel free to throw whatever obscenities you want at me. I can give ‘em back tenfold.

DO – take every and anything I say completely seriously.

DO – KNOW my character before you start shit. I need YOU to understand Gojinn.

DON’T – Write my character in the ring or somewhere else without my permission. I don’t take kindly to this at all, and will either ignore said post entirely, or make you look like a big asshole. Think before you post (I've had this happen before. It really pissed me off, so please respect my wishes)

DON’T – have Gojinn painted as weak in your posts.

DON’T – Godmode me. I take pleasure in knowing most of my match posts are having your characters kick my ass. Return the favor. Just because I hit a clothesline at the end of your post doesn’t make it fair. Your whole post should contain back and forth action, not completely one sidedness.

DON’T – Touch my throne. It’s like a championship title. I took it with my crown after my win as KOTR. I would just appreciate it, if you left it alone please.

DON’T – try to kill me with a gunshot/stab wound/or throwing me off some real high point. I’m a vampire/demon/angel hybrid (Read up on my character. If this is news, you need to). I have wings and can fly, and I can heal.

DON’T – Have Gojinn use his powers in matches. In RP’s I will. Contact me if you have questions about powers. (If you’ve actually read my website pages, you’ll know what he can do.)

[I’ll add more when I see that more needs to added. ]

Edit [8/04/06]:

I have multiple characters I use in my RP's. If you need to do something, and feel coming to my mansion will help it, feel free (please do not destroy the mansion, as it's happened before, and Gojinn did not like that.) If you, for reasons unknown, think attacking one of my RP characters or taking them away or something will help you, go ahead. But I'm warning you that isn't the greatest move.

James: Older man, in his sixties. Gojinn murdered his family when he was only 17, and still trying to control his powers. James found him in an alley, and when Gojinn whipped out the gun, he begged for death. James had not been at the house when Gojinn attacked. He didn't know for years of Gojinn's doings, and Gojinn had simply just taken James with him to be his servant. Over tiume though, they got close. James is like Gojinn's second father. Today, they are on better terms, even though James has learned of their past entirely. He is less of a butler now, but still answers the doors and does things to keep it clean. He lives outside of the mansion in a small guest house, but spends most of the day within the house.

Kevin: Teenage boy, going to be turning 18 sooner than later. Gojinn passed him on the street one day when he fled a bunch of children chasing and beating him. The sixteen year old looked scruffy, and small. He was very unclean, and Gojinn knew something was wrong. He chased off the other kids, and helped the boy up, only to be attacked by their fathers, who happened to be part of a biker gang. Gojinn fought them off with some injury, and got the boy to his mansion. His parents had been killed a week prior, and he couldn't tell anyone since it was a murder, and he wasn't even supposed to be there. Today, Kevin has grown up and matured, and is well trained to fight. He's an expert with knives, and has somehow developed a telekinetic power.

The Mansion itself: Today, I'm still working on getting a visual tour, but it was an old motel back in the day, that was turned into a smaller mansion type home, once part of it had burned down years ago. It's been completely renovated, with secrets all over the place. There are many rooms, and the house itself is beautiful. The main entryway is the largest part of the house. The floorspace is enourmous, and has a huge candle chandelier above it. The driveway is extremely long, and outside walls are ten foot high cement, with the gates being opened only by fingerprint scanners on the outside, and obviously a release lock on the inside for visitors. Just some info for if you come over.
