This sounds awfully serious for "tongue in cheek." Especially that Bridge -- not much levity in that. It doesn't go "extreme" enough ... in the way that "You Ain't Much Fun Since I Quit Drinkin" did, for example.
That being said, while you'll probably have to abandon this as a novelty piece, there's an interesting twist at its core that I think is worth salvaging. It's very politically incorrect of course, the husband expecting his wife to cook and clean and iron -- but it's honest. Maybe take it in that direction ... your call.
By the way -- in case you don't check down the list -- A&R stands for "Artists" and "Repetoire." I had that confirmed by a co-producer of mine.
