The Deliberate "Vagueness' of what Brought Tears to her Eyes IS, I'm sure, designed to make it a More Universal Lyric...but it also makes the Song see, to me, fall a bit Short.
It's like Wine with no Aftertaste...
Just maybe a HINT of what Flavor brought this Couple to the Breaking Point and it'll be Dom Perignon.
