Usually don't read other comments before putting my two bobs worth in but saw some of the headings and figured this had done what it was maybe meant to do.
I mostly go along with Don as i gave this the chance of maybe being aimed at the way out commercial so called religions that seem to be breeding like flies of late.
Do understand this. I am not a Christian so my comments are not based on my being cheesed off with your critisism of that faith.
Lyricaly, historically and factually your story is contrived.
To call all believers weak is offensive and so blows you out of the market.
The inferance of this demands all faiths are that have a power they look to are weak.
Your comment as to Jesus being ficticious, even with me being a non believer, doesn't hold water.
Had have said God and/or Satan I would have been able to acept that but I believe there is enough proof Christ existed and was one of the main teachers in how we should strive to live.
I once got a bit of a beating for a little tounge in cheek thing I did infering God was a woman, and I have sen youyr posting here often enough fro me to believe you have already guaged the general boundries of this site so suggest yuo keep all further postings to what is the accepted level in this environment.
We are guests here and as such should respect the feelings of the masses.
And the house rules.
Way back someone wrote a lyric from memory Black Christmas which was a real shocker.
I edited it and posted it as a faith song. And got some brownie point in the proccess.
This one doesn't have the impact Black Christmas had but maybe you would like to have a go at doing the same with this as it does have some good qualities among the rhymes of convieniance.
