a blues bloke once had a competition on how to get more folks to listen to blues.
My first suggestion was to drive around looking real cool with the tapedeck blowing wild.
I won the darn comp and got a couple of totally great CD's of a bloke I had never heard and now can't hear enough of. We are also looking at doing some collaboration after me doing a review of his two CD's. Jazz and blues. meet the niceset ppl via the net sometimes.
But yep. Used to relief manage a fruit and vegie shop for a friend when he went on holidays and it was right on an intersection so know where you are coming from Stan. Think your scenerio is pretty spot on.
