I just love the hook Colleen - some things just flow right off the tongue so well and that hook is one of them. I'm not a real parrot head myself - though enough in spirit (and because they ARE 'Songs you know by Heart!) I can see this working very well with that JB feel. I couldn't get a sense of rhythm until Stan suggested that change to the 'While/Wave' in that matching line. That 3rd line of v1 is where I just couldn't get a meter down. I'd look at that line too and possibly say 'Where a Seniorita waits for A low tide after dark'. The other thing...should this be high tide? High tide takes you in closer to the shore right? I know it could work either way though.
