As a publisher does, the first thing I noticed about your lyric was the title. I remembered one past hit in 1963 by The Essex. Out of curiousity I did a title search at BMI, ASCAP and SESAC. Here are the results:
BMI--56 matching titles
ASCAP--7
SESAC--2
That's 65 other registered songs with the same title. Although titles and ideas are not copyrightable, I suggest you develop a fresher one. JMO
