Didn't know this was still getting responses. I'm glad this one struck a chord. I'm the father who didn't know what hit him when his daughter turned 12 yrs. old two years ago. It's been a stormy two years but I guess I grew up(painfully)too. I've come to realize through my daughter that it's much much more difficult for girls than it is for boys.
