Thanks for the great insight, I knew the bridge needed either more of an introduction or expanded upon, really like your suggestion too Kathy.
Cindy, I worked with disabled individuals for six years, they had specific goals they had to work on in residential living facilities- how to dress, bathe, eat, etc. All daily living skills, we take for granted. No one, seemed to care that they had dreams for the future too, just because they were disabled physically, they still had hopes and dreams, if ever so small or even impossible. I was trying to capture that feeling. And give the song a turning point, in the bridge.
I will work on the rewrite and repost it soon.
