Response to Rover Must have Carbon Problem

The 4.0L/4.6L V8s used in Range Rovers are extremely sensative engines, and also do build carbon fast (combustion chamber shape). My advice is to use good gas from a reputable station. A close family member of mine has a 2003 Discovery 4.6SE - and I can tell you service is painfully expensive - these cars are worth the extra money to care for right.
