Simply put, the stuff does work, although it varies from vehicle to vehicle on how well. I found to to work very well in my first application and slightly less well in my second. It won't cause engine failure and it will not fix a truly 'broken' engine. There's a bunch of BS on this forum from several jokers and liars, most who have probably never tried the stuff. Be careful on whose post you believe. As you discovered, Maurice is a real person whose job it is to quantify devices like zMAX. He's not a BSer with moronic, self-serving, motives who likes to see something on the internet that makes him look smart. He's simply a very well qualified person doing his job, and reporting his findings. (He was probably paid by Oil Chem, though) If he'd gotten bad results, you simply would have never seen his report. I wonder if he's done any research on others like Duralube, Slick 50, et.al.? |
