Ok, so here we go.
The book Living with the ACTIVE/ALERT Child by Linda S. Budd PhD will be our first selection. You may read the summary on the
Resource Center if you choose not to participate in the entire book discussion, but wish to have an idea about the direction we are going.
The first section of the book is called, LOVING YOUR ACTIVE ALERT CHILD and encompases her definition of the Active Alert child and takes up 36 pages. We will give everyone until the 17th of February to read this section. Make sure you note the attributes your child has, mark up the book if you like...make this as interactive as possible.
You don't need to like the book, nor appreciate her approach to participate - please post dissenting opinions without fear of reprisal!
