Jack definitely is more aware of his environment than his brother- he notices little things, and if things are slightly out of order. He will remember something we told him or did two years ago! It seems like he never forgets anything. He does tend to explore everything also- takes things apart, touches everything- and can become easily overstimulated.
So far, I haven't seen much trouble as far as boundaries for others and rules for appropriate behavior. In fact, he is very rule oriented! He gets very distressed if he feels the rules aren't being followed or not applied fairly. As Karen, I think, mentioned- he's not much of a team player though. (This will present problems as summer sports season approaches- his brother wants to join every team!)
