Yes, I think Jack is bright (big surprise). He is starting to read just by listening to us work with his older brother. He had a grasp of phonics well before Collin did- we would be asking C. what sound does this letter make, while he was struggling to remember, Jack would holler out the answer from across the room! He does seem to have a great memory too, he will notice if we deviate from the beaten path. He seems to be a visual learner, but very hands on as well. I overheard him the other day when he was on the computer saying "What does this do?" as he clicked around the screen just to see what would happen. Oh, and he had mastered the computer by age 3- It was amazing how fast he took to it, and is quite a whiz now.
