Jack definitely craves control over his environment. I haven't really noticed a need to control his playmates (maybe because he has always had to share and take turns with his brother, 12 mos older?). He has gotten more logical about things as he has gotten older, but things go much smoother if they are like he has in mind. It seems to be almost painful to him if something deviates from his picture of how things ought to be. I have to admit that I am the same way! The line about how they either cooperate or they don't stuck home with us! I am constantly having to figure out a way so that Jack feels like it is his idea to go along with the plan- its exhausting! (who's the control freak?)
