I'm new to this homepage; got here from Spirited/High Needs board at Parentsoup.com. But I had to respond to your comment! Our son began talking at 11 months and hasn't stopped other than to eat and sleep. Have you and your family not been able to watch a tv show or have a discussion for four years? That's us. It's difficult to explain to others how exhausting this is, isn't it? And does your son have to talk and walk at the same time, like ours??
(Did you know that you can use the remote control "menu" to get the captions on your tv screen? That's the only way we can watch and understand anything on tv.)
