I am the mother of a 7 year old spirited son. He too loves to hear himself. He has always made noise (since birth), and has never stopped talking since he learned how to. He hates to be alone and follows me from room to room, talking to me, and telling me to "look at this, Mom" and "watch me Mom". I have to tell him that my ears are sore from listening and that they need a rest.
I completely understand how you feel. Do you think this is something they will grow out of, or that they may change as they get older? change for the better, I mean, (or quieter).
