Appropriate places for blue hydrangeas?

May 11 2008 at 1:25 AM
Stephanie

Dear Sir, I recently was given a blue potted hydrangea for mothers day. I have always wanted one, but have a brown thumb and am phenominally great at killing all things green. I live in Oklahoma and it is very hot and humid 6 months a year. I know nothing about my plant although, I would like to keep the beautiful blue color. I heard they can change color. Any advice would be truly helpful.

Thanks, Stephanie
