Been awhile!!

Hi Mike.. Sorry for being so negligent.
I live in Riverside, Ca, and I owuld like to know if I can plant FRAGRANT Lilacs in this area. Ouur winters do actually get frost at times. How cold and for how long does it need to stay cold for them to be self supporting..........
