COLOR CHANGING HYDRANGEAS

May 13 2008 at 10:38 AM

Response to Appropriate places for blue hydrangeas?

Here in NC (Zones 7-8) you can get them to go to pink or blue by changing the soil to acid or alkaline. Pine trees are strongly one way, but I forget which - adding lime sends them to the other color.
