Response to Re: Can I overwinter perennials in containers?

if you can't put them in the ground because you haven't decided where you want to leave them, you might do what i do ,and have had 100% luck with them> i have a hugh compost bin, 10' circle and 1 1/2foot deep . bury the whole pot up even with the depth of the soil in the pot. as per mike, you might want to put the cover over it also ,but it isn't mandatory IF they are buried.

A signed copy of my book, "Easy Plant Propagation" is a great gift idea!
