Response to laceleaf japanese maples

you have a grafted ,weeping jp. they come two ways, either a tall graft or a low graft.the lower the graft ,the more the tree will in time touch the ground. nobody agrees on how they should look . it's personal preference. most people like to lightly prune the tree to "open" the branches to view. my weepers are planted on hillsides or on mounds to give them more room to hang down. i have both the high and low graft and don't want them pruned at all at this point.

A signed copy of my book, "Easy Plant Propagation" is a great gift idea!
