Zoysia Grass

Has anybody had experience with Zoysia Grass Plugs?

I have a non-lawn w/ lots of weeds; bare spots & stickery vines on an area w/both clay and sandy spots. I am wanting to keep an open space about 3000sf. Around the outside I have planted clover; & have some plants & shrubs among the trees surrounding this space. considering Zoysia grass plugs. Would like more info (from non-seller).
