Response to Pesticide/herbicide ban in Ontario

Sounds like government again making laws to protect us from one problem while creating another.

This reminds me about how one solution to a problem lead to another, to another and so on.

On the U.S. side of the Detroit River is an island call Belle Is. When it was first settled it was inhabited with many rodents. The farmers didn't like the rodents eating their grain, etc. Solution, bring in snakes to eat the rodents. Snakes population explosion. No more rodents/ to many snakes. Solution, bring in hogs. Hog population explosion. No more snakes/ wild hogs digging up crops. Solution, bring in the hunters.

Lesson - THINK!!!!!!!! through the first solution.

If nothing else, move south as my ancestors did 150 years ago.

A signed copy of my book, "Easy Plant Propagation" is a great gift idea!
