Response to topsy turvy upside down tomato planter

I'm currently working as a waterer in a nursery/greenhouse, and we have one of those weird-looking tomato enclosures. Last year, it produced a bumper crop of tomatoes, and this year seems to be as promising. The key is to not over-water. The one I'm currently tending is enclosed so I can't see what's going on inside - all I have to discern whether or not to water it is what's sticking out, and how much water drips down when I press on the little spongy opening at the bottom.

This probably doesn't help much, but from what I can tell, these silly things work, if done properly. If I can get more information regarding how to plant, how to water (or NOT water) and what to look for, I'll post it here.

party80.gifI read recipes the same way I read science fiction. I get to the end and think, "Well, that's not going to happen."

A signed copy of my book, "Easy Plant Propagation" is a great gift idea!
