Response to soft wood cuttings in propagation system won't root for me :(

Sally,

What are you doing wrong?

1. Your first attempt probably was too early for Ohio. We never start softwood cuttings before June 1st.

2. Your second attempt is timed much better but the cutting sticker is quite impatient. These things take time. The easiest of easy plants might root in 2 weeks but most take 4 to 6 weeks for them to root. As long as the cuttings still look good just give them time.

3. You should tell me what you are trying to root because each plant has it's own set of rules about making new roots.
