HELLO RAE,

I BOUGHT AN OAK LEAF HYDRANGEA LAST YEAR IN LATE SUMMER. IT IS A VERY SMALL ONE. I BELIEVE IT WAS IN A 1 GALLON CONTAINER. JUST AS THE LADY AT THE NURSERY SAID, IT IS YELLOW IN THE SPRING, THE LEAVES TURN GREEN IN THE SUMMER MONTHS AND RED IN THE FALL. IT SOUNDED SO UNIQUE THAT I BOUGHT IT, COVERED IT ALL WINTER AND SURE ENOUGH THE SPRING LEAVES WERE YELLOW. IT IS NOW STARTING TO TURN GREEN. I READ THE ARTICLE MIKE TOLD YOU TO GO TO AND LEARNED SOMETHING I DIDN'T KNOW AND THAT IS THAT IT DOES FLOWER! NOW MINE IS VERY SMALL YET BUT I'LL BE WATCHING FOR BUDS
