Response to Japanese Beetles

Nematodes may be a very distant cousin of the roundworms you mentioned, but they are not the same that affect dogs and cats. Most nematodes attack plants and can cause severe damage if infestation is very high. They are parasitic and can literally suck the life out of a plant or cause the roots to be deformed and unthrifty.
