Response to Somebody?

have bought some different varieties from various suppliers and read as much as was useful about them. bottom line is, trying to raise a tropical plant without tropical conditions is a roll of the dice. at the very least, it should be considered maximum light is needed. they are not generally receptive to a great deal of fertilizing. cutting and pruning do not produce consistent results. for an easy indoor tropical, try dwarf banana trees. there are a ton of varieties, and they grow huge leaves, and love it wet and well fed.
