Cabbage bugs ?

Response to CABBAGE BUGS

I'm guessing the Bugs you mentioned are the larva of the cabbage looper moth. There will be small light green "worms" on the underside of the leaves, if this is what is eating your plants. The best "organic" solution to getting rid of them is to treat with BT (Bacilus thuricidis sp?)You mix the treatment with water and spray late in the afternoon when the critters are active, they eat some cabbage leaf with the bacteria on it, then the bacteria go to work on the digestive system of the "worms". They will then starve to death. The BT is completely harmless to humans and pets-- it just affects the larvae. Hope this helps and may God bless you and your garden. clm
