Hi,I am not a machinist but read some very intresting threads this morning !
I,ll start with the 3 in 1 set up, I have had this chinese Lathe miller for about 8 years, I paid $350 for it along with a load of gear,( Don,t give me too much flak ! )
Pic -[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

How does it work, ( To be honest its the only one I have ever had & I don,t know any better )
Its good points are , its accurate, The chuck hole ( I don,t know what its called ) Is over 1" in diamater so I can hold a bar, barrel above one inch, the chuck is approx 5", bed about 25"
Not being a machinist, A friend of mine told me to make this,Pic-[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

It obviously fits in the chuck & holds all my smaller dies for threading, I have a larger one that fits in the Tailstock chuck, ( Its Taps & Dies for me )
I am sure the professionals among you are already gritting your teeth Ha ha,
how does it Mill ( remember I don,t know any better )
Seems OK, steady cuts, Tighten up the rotating arm well, Etc
Its good enough to make these !Sharp Innova machined breech pic-[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
Just a laymans thoughts, cheers Ged
