Hi Ramson!!

How's it Going,Great I hope!

Okay,Do you have any Instructions with lathe Paperwork?

It should tell you what gears And where to place them for 28tpi and what sequence Number on Autofeed start
threading ex: Even # thread 2,4,6, or 8

Odd #'s 1,3,5,7 etc....

Practice on scrap metal first, until you get the feel of it, have oil ready at hand, GO Slow

I have a Grizzly Mini Lathe (tabletop Model)

Bought it for making Choke tubes for my Shotgun and swage dies foe pellets & bullets any questions, e-mail Me back @

Hi there!

Did you get instructions for threading gear set up & placement with your Lathe?

It should say there what gears go where for the 28tpi you want practice on another scrap piece til ya get the feel first!

for even threads(28tpi), engage auto feed on even numbers on dial Example 2,4,6,or 8, for odd thread count(like 1/2-13) start on 1,3,5 or 7 have oil brush handy & GO Fairly Slow so you can disengage feed so carriage doesn't slam into main body of lathe & Possibly strip gears

Any Questions ,write back! Okay?

Mario

Hi Ramson,

Did you find the answer to your threading question? If not, maybe I can offer some insight as I have a 8x12 HF lathe and I'm learning to thread with it.

sorry, I've been offline for about a month or I would have responded sooner.

Bill
