I can't believe it has been a year already. Wildlife lost their best friend on that fateful day.

Thanks for bringing everybody down, MA

September 4 2007, 2:55 PM

Just kidding. I can't belive it's been a year either. He was entertaining and he will be missed by everyone but his wife and little girl will miss him most of all. His daughter has been so brave every time I've seen her on TV. I don't think I've seen her cry.

I would've bet

September 4 2007, 3:19 PM

anything that a croc would get him one day. Never dreamed he would go like he did. I thought he was very careless with all the showmanship and he seemed to take unnecessary risks at times.

Still, it was a horrible way for him to go. I hope his family continues his animal protection efforts. I anticipate seeing his children with their own shows (as experts) once they're grown and doing their own things.

R.I.P., for sure, Steve.

Yes, Bindi is a little sweetheart

I really feel for his family. I know they miss him terribly. The little boy probably won't even remember him. Thank God for reruns.

The film of his death

September 4 2007, 8:37 PM

Although his wife asked that it be destroyed and never shown, I just saw on TV over the weekend that it is about to be broadcast. Didn't get the details of when or what show or channel.
