You know, I'm pretty bored (and procrastinating in class), and it seems like it might be nice to have a thread like this, so here we go.
Introduce yourself here! If you're RPing or stalking this forum (I don't know why, but whatever) go ahead and just say hi. Or something. Yeah, I'm lame.
Ok, I'll start off:
I'm Bob the Dragon. I am one of the moderators and founders of this board (along with JesterCapp). I can and will make as many fighting game references as I possible in the RP's. Selt is my original character but I don't intend to use him in any later RP's after "City Life."
I am the other founder/ moderator, JesterCapp. I'm an art student in Florida. My character I'm currently playing with in "City Life" is Jan. I like Video games, D&D, anime, etc. I also will reference fighting games frequently.
Name's Rogue. I'm also an art student with Jester and Bob in FL (but thus far, aren't we all? =P). I play the character Matt, who is really an ancient character I decided to resurrect from the deadness of a Megaman RPG I used to do long ago....such a character so if I decide to pull random crap, I won't feel too bad making him suffer.
As far as references....you've already noticed the Megaman and fighting game references....but trust me, I'll make many other references, as along side of video games, I like...uh...anime, US animation/movies, comic books (manga and "graphic novels") , and just random stuff. Oh, and Monty Python of course. >_>

Please don't harshly deconstruct the semantics of my post, thus adding to my already crippling insecurity complex and leading me to turn to the Yu-Gi-Oh CCG as the only thing that gives me even a fleeting feeling of victory and importance, despite its game mechanics being primitive and relying largely on random factors to produce positive results. ^_______^

I am the Bagel Monger, mongerer of bagels and of peanut butter and full time lurker at RSAD. When I am not stalking my delectable bakery prey, I can be found sleeping under/over/on/in all manner of places and can usually be summoned with promise of literature. Mmm, books....

Val, who you might eventually see haunting the forums, is an eccentric vampire (who prefers vinnegar to blood, thank you) and other than that, well, he's just your...average night stalker?
I'm not sure why he sees fit to wear a ribbon...it's just how he was created. Perhaps it's like a radio antenna. Picks up good radio transmissions?

Uh, lessee. Things I'm supposed to link you too... Ah! Rules! They look defined, but they're really just there to give you a sense of what's going on.
Other than that, the current RP thread is City Life 3 (the third part of the City life series of threads on the RP board. Continuity is fairly minimal here, but reading the previous ones is probably recommended.)
Anyway, just hop in whenever you want. If you want to check with others first, just ask on the New about the RP thread. We blather there about whatever is going on in the RP.
Uh so yeeeeaaah. Introductions? Art-person-thing at RSAD. Computer Animation. I'm not so sure if I can be as incredibly random as everyone else here, but I'll do my best, cause randomness is what makes Zooting so damn fun.
As far as references to things? Uhm... I'm not as well versed in the video game culture as my fellow Zooters, so most of my references will probably be to card games, DnD, some gameboy games, TV, Movies, and other random things that I think people may enjoy.
My character in City Life is Cucumber Whisky, A.K.A. Q. He's my bard character from silly campaign. Q is INCREDIBLY clumsy. He can't play any instruments, and he'd sing except he has a tendency to hit off key, so instead, he's proficent in Haiku. Sometimes he does well, sometimes the so-called poetry is obviously done on the fly, either way, he's got a good perform check.
Do whatever you want to Q. He's here for us to have fun so have at him. I'd like to see how creative you can get. ^__^
