Wrong on the Pee Wee team
They lost to the Blues yesterday 3 to 2.
If they lose to them today they stay home.

Both teams played their number 2 in net and rolled lines...because that game meant nothing. The real game is today. It could go either way, but I like Affton's chances. |

Why are the Bantams chances only a 2?????? |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: Looks like all Affton teams have a very good shot | March 22 2009, 4:23 PM |
Same reason Mm was only a 9. They clinched a spot 2 weeks ago so anything less than 10 proves the above poster is an idiot.
Affton PWs lost a tight a game to Blues today so they will not advance. MM beat the Sabres 6-3 so they advance. |

If you people would read the post, you would not make asses of yourselves. It said chances AT nationals, not chances getting to Nationals. The poster pretty much put all four teams MM-PW into Nationals. I would say chances for the three remaining teams are(this means chance of winning at Nationals for those of you that don't read well)
MM 6
Mm 8
Bantam 4
PW Eliminated |

3 of 4 made it out of Affton.
Bantam major, midget minor & midget major all are going to Nationals. CHA CS midget major should have been at regionals but the CHA board decided their moam teams will be host and not their central states teams. The result is they all got their butts kicked. |

Thats because CS teams are not allowed to be the host dipshit, its in the rules. |

Anonymous (no login) | Re: Looks like all Affton teams have a very good shot | March 22 2009, 8:51 PM |
What would the CHA board know about the districts. They were no where to be found even though they were running it. Just like last time. They should never host another one. |
|

Dipshit? We(central states parents) were told it was a decision made by CHA. If that's not the case smartass, show me the rule. |
|

7:04 and 4:45- you are a dipshit, CHA board had nothing to do with decision. Since you obviously have internet access why don't you look up the rule yourself, it is on the MO Hockey website and has been for years!! |

Here ya go dipshit!!!! Looks like the best club in town lied again. Please notice where it says Central States teams are not eligible
You all should really read this some time so you do not ask stupid questions.
I) Determining the Missouri Hockey District Host Representative
On occasion, MAIHA-YD and a member organization will host the Central District Tournament. MAIHA-YD and the hosting member organization may enter a team in the Central District Tournament at the Pee Wee, Bantam, Midget Minor and Midget Major AA level. The host team will be determined by the process below.
1) The MAIHA-YD AA representative will play the Central States representative in a 2 game playoff plus mini game if needed. See previous rules for determining these representatives. The results of this game will determine the MAIHA-YD representative and the MAIHA-YD host representative.
2) If the Central States representative wins, they are the Missouri Hockey representative to the Central District Tournament
a) The Missouri Hockey host team will be determined as follows:
• If MAIHA-YD hosting organization team finishes 1st thru 4th in the MAIHA-YD league, then the MAIHA-YD hosting organization is the Missouri Hockey host team
• If MAIHA-YD hosting organization team does not finish 1st thru 4th in the MAIHA-YD AA league, then the MAIHA-YD AA league 1st place team is the Missouri Hockey host team. (EOS does not apply and Central States teams are not eligible)
3) If the MAIHA-YD AA representative wins, then they are the Missouri Hockey representative to the Central District Tournament
a) The Missouri Hockey host team will be determined as follows:
• If MAIHA-YD hosting organization team finishes 1st thru 4th in the MAIHA-YD league, then the MAIHA-YD hosting organization is the Missouri Hockey host team
• If MAIHA-YD hosting organization team does not finish 1st thru 4th in the MAIHA-YD AA league, then the team finishing with the highest rankings in the MAIHA-YD AA league standings is the Missouri Hockey host team. (EOS does not apply and Central States teams are not eligible)

4:45pm looks like the CF people(board?) are the dipshits! If they really told you the decision of host team was up to them, they are pathetic by not knowing a rule thats been in place for years. As you see in the above rules, CS teams Are Not Eligible. |

This is another rule from the bright minds at moam. |

Host spot is given to the club that host the district tournament as reward for time, moeny and effort spent on the tournament. Why should should hte CS team get it when the majority of the team is from other clubs. The AA team is from the club. Makes sense to reward the club memebrs and not the non members. The AA kids deserve the opportunity to epxerience the distirct tournament and this is their only realisitc chance to do that since the deck is stacked against them. Sometimes is not all about winning. CS has the opportunity to particpate, so they ar en to shut out. They just have to earn it. |

So the players that are playing on your central states teams don't pay their fees to Chesterfield, they pay it to the club they came from? Didn't think so. What a joke you and your bender are. Are you on the USA board that is deciding to break down nationals to four different group so More benders have a chance to play for something. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: Looks like all Affton teams have a very good shot | March 24 2009, 2:40 PM |
2:29- the joke is on you. Why should a CS team get a chance at the MO Hockey regional slot when they play in another states league? Why don't you cry to the Chicago folks to let your team play in their spot? Have they ever approach AHAI about that? I doubt it because they would tell them to get lost.
As it stands now all you non-benders need to do is finish above the other team in town and you get a 50% chance of going when you beat up the AA team. What, your little team of elite players couldn't get the job done so you want more rules to get your stud to the promised land? Why don't you just have your boy play a little better or is that too tough for him to do?
Crying about not getting to play at districts because your city wide all star team sucked is low even for you. Grow up and get some private lessons or have your team sign up for more hockey academy sessions. |

2:40, what the fu$$ are you talking about.
First off all, Central States is not a Chicago League. Thus the Name CENTRAL STATES.
Second, the Chicago CS teams are entered into their Chicago cup along with all the other AA teams in the area.
And third tell me where I said my team didn't have a change to play in the districts. I don't even have a son on these teams, but I obviously know more about it then your dumb ass. |

"my team didn't have a CHANGE to play in districts" what the hell does that mean? |

Anonymous (no login) | Re: Looks like all Affton teams have a very good shot | March 24 2009, 9:13 PM |
4:18- I thought it was a pretty straight forward statement but I guess you didn't read it slow enough.
The Central States league is governed out of the Illinois affiliate, so play your way through their playoffs and leave us benders down here that actually play in MO to our spot.
Pretty simple Jethro!!

9:13, you are a true piece of shit. I'm guessing that you think the teams from Omaha, Indy, should all be playing in the Il. playoffs also since they play in the CentraL States League. Man you are stupid.
You can't figure that there was a typo in the Chance-Change. I wonder what that means. Still never said that a team didn't have a chance.
Also, the CS teams in St. Louis are registered in Missouri. They play out of Chesterfield, MO. and Affton, MO. They practice in MO. Deal with it you sore ass loser.
It used to be fun to come on here and get into some lively debates, but you are just an Idiot who thinks its just not fair for the big bad CS teams to take away the change for our little AA team to go to the regionals and GET OUR ASS KICKED.... i'm out. Later ass-wipes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

The only way reason CS teams can beat us AA guys is due to your all-star
picks with open districts. I love how you CS supporters defend the rules since your kid is playing CS. If you were on this side of the fence, you would agree 100% at how incredibly unfair it is to expect a Districted team to beat a Non-Districted group of allstars. Don't get your head to high in those clouds, especially winning against teams you should be able to beat by 10 goals. When your little bender comes back to us AA leftovers, you'll be saying the same thing as the rest of us AA good-for-nothings. |

9:39- wow, seems like we hit a nerve on your stupid suggestion that CHA should have been allowed to send their CS team as a host even though the rules do not allow it and then when we suggest you should get to the regional tournament through the affiliate where you actually play you go nuts!
I do think that if a team plays in Tier II out of a league that is governed by Illinois then it should try to get to the District Tournament through that states spot. |

The big bad CS teams are simply the best AA players from around town playing on one or two teams. What bothers people is when you act like the league made them so good,or playing with the Affton crest on their chest is what made them top players. They went to your club because they are damn good and they want to play at regionals and nationals. If you would call them the st louis americans it would sit better with almost everyone. Take the four or five best Sharks or Rockets off their team, put them on the cs team and how could you expect them to even begin to compete. Then you beat your chest and act like you accomplished something rather than assembled something. | |
