What is nuts is people thinking it is okay to just do whatever you please and damn the consequences.

Nobody ever looks at the big picture anymore, it is all about what can I get for myself and fuck everyone else.

This mantra of more quality players at a birth year and more opportunities for players has been disproven on multiple occasions but it will show up again every few years. In a year or two somebody will do the same with the 96, 97 or 98 birth year.

More power to them? I say the opposite, bury them!

Help us out and please tell, what is the big picture?

My son played two years for Mike at the 90 AA level He is a very good coach. Understands the game at the youth level.

The reason he left AAA was b/c he was forced out by Basil and his crew of nit wits.

Give him a chance I promise you your son will be a much better player at the end of the year.

How many coaches can you say that about.

So where is your son playing now? Just curious.

So you now have Zuke and the two Cavs with no kids on teams they'll be coaching. How long did BM stick around once his son left? Imagine these guys giving back, what a concept. What will we be able to bash them for now? What could the alterior motives be, are they fed up with the stautus quo we have all had to endure or will they select teams based on talent? Could this be another great concept. I like their approach and philosophy....education first. Can't say I've heard many coaches talk about academics and emphasize it like they have.

Then you haven't listened to any other coaches. Academics is always discussed on teams that we have been a part of. It's great to have choices and options - do what you want - just don't bash others in doing what they want to do.

You are exactly right. People are going to do what they are going to do. I heard from a few parents whose kids were on the team say that all they did was stress academics first and foremost. Something about having a class for study during practice days, I can't remember. But what I do remember was the Cavallini's commitment to education.

Sounds like Mike will keep the emphasis going.

Things sure have become interesting in the u16 and 18 ranks of late.

Zuke is an excellent Coach and a great guy! Always has great advice for kids or parents, even if your kid did not play on his team.

I hope they pay well. The hit he will take at Affton on equipment orders will be huge.

What does "HC" mean or stand for?
