How many returning players does this team have? They had a great season but with an older team and players aging out or moving on how competitive will they be? One of their two 92's will be playing juniors. How many 91's return if any?

It would seem having had the opportunity to finally compete in the MWEHL there would have been some forward thinking in building a team that doesn't age out so many players every year. Is this too far fetched to expect from the brain trust down in the valley.

This short sightedness could lead them the way of S2 and Phnatoms come next year.

Any thoughts on where players will come from?

Hard to say how competitive they will be until teams are picked and we see who the Selects are able to get. I would not worry too much about being kicked out of the league. The U18 Blues were admitted to the league when they were ranked 21st in the country. Most of last season they spent ranked number one. Finished at number two. I think they will be ok for a while.

I think the 92's are extremely deep in terms of talent and there a lot of good 91's as well. We will see who makes it but this should be a good team.

Rumor has it only two or three coming back as most moved up the hockey ladder.

U18 only has 3 returning players, but they're all very good. Up to 8 or 9 of the U16 kids won't even be trying out, will go to the Selects or will be staying at U16, so there are a lot of spots open. But the 91 and 92 age groups are very deep and they should find some good players.

Bigger concern should be U16, they'll be very young to be competing in the MWEHL. A lot of these questions will be answered in the next week, should be very interesting.

Exactly why will it be interesting?

who will be the stronger club this year Selects or AAA?

That will be hard to debate until both teams rosters are announced.

We'll never know because the chances of the two teams playing are less than zero. The Blues will never do it and will do all they can to make the Selects go away.

Well May 12 @ 8:30, it's interesting because after you've been in the hockey community for awhile you actually get to know some of the kids and their families and it's "interesting" to see what teams they end up on. It's not a negative thing, it's natural to be interested in what your hockey friends are doing for the next season.

Why wouldn't you be interested, are you oblivious to everything else going on around you? You can be interested and not wish any ill will or bad fortune on others.

I believe the tryouts are over for MM AAA. Is the team picked yet?
