TLs team was outmatched. According to the other 95 thread he is the best coach with the best 95 kid. What happened. Did he not pick the right kids for this tournament. How could that be. He knows talent ha ha. He got a taste of reality. For someone who has been blowing his horn on this site and to others in the hockey community he must be embarrassed. Maybe he needed those two big forwards that are outstanding players that he likes to put down on this site and to other people. Karma.

No one has ever used the words "best coach" in any thread regarding TL. He could have used those 2 kids St. Louis had from LA though. Heard 3or4 kids didnt show up. |

Looks like TL did take a beating in Chicago but he was missing a few key players. TL is an overall good guy. At times he does get on your nerves but the guy loves hockey. He does know talent and does point out things players need to work on, although at times he should probably not say it to the player’s parents.
What about the STL team? Who was on it? The only team they beat was TL's team. Not very good representation from ST. Louis.

First of all TLs team only had 4 players from St Louis, the other players were Tier 2 players from 4 states 2 players had cancelled flights out of Texas and 1 cancelled that Monday. Believe me that wasn't the team that was supposed to be at the tournament. 2 players were added that Friday. Oh and by the way the La players scored 5 of the 7 goals scored against TLs team. The Jr.Kings-ST/Louis team was stronger defensively,Give them credit. |

Our team is a fun team put together from mostly Tier 2 players. We lost all 4 games Yes but we had a lot of fun, hockey is not always about winning and losing. We gave the NB team a real fight and I was really proud of them. We added players that I never seen play before. Every player on my team was a better player after the tournament. Kudos to the Kings/St.Louis you have braggin rights if thats what you like.
By the way my son had a really good AAA tryout with 7 pts with the only hatrick,If your son had been 1 or 2 in points on every team he has been on you would understand why I know he could help a team. Believe me MG knows it. Heck Cam played for our team 4 weeks ago MG and I are good friends and he knows that I disagreed with my son getting cut. So we will have fun back at Affton and wish all the St.Louis Players well wherever they play whether its AAA, Chesterfield or Affton or the Selects.I hope that AAA beats Honeybaked and wins the National Championship. I'm pulling for MG and company.
Coach TL
Midwest Selects (the fun option) |

TL,
Don't worry about this poster. He just couldn't wait to get back to STL so he could start cracking on you. We don't care. I agree with you, JL had a great tryout. He is a playermaker plain and simple and makes any team he plays on a better team. We both know that it just wasn't in the cards this year. Hey, it is what it is. As you said, we will have another great year at Affton and the kids will have alot of FUN going after that National Championship, watered down as it may be. We know it isn't MG on here bad mouthing you, it just one of those parents that was worried that J was going to take his kids spot and now feels the power because his kids spot was saved.
I'm with you, we have no hard feelings for MG nor any of the players that made the 95 AAA Blues. We congratulate them and wish them all the best in representing ST. Louis Hockey. |

Just remember. If your kid is really that good you don’t have to tell anyone, they tell you. TL needs to remember that.

Thats why JL is playing in the Ronald Mcdonald tournament in Toronto this weekend with 3 other St. Louis players.
A former pro player picked him and others. |

I think it is time for TL to head up an independent team at Bantam. St. Louis needs more choices. |
