Heard that group from Chesty is trying to build rinks in OFallon. Have presented to city. It was in local paper.

Bandits would relocate to new rinks. Any other info on this floating around?

I assume you mean O'fallon, MO.; not IL. Either way it would make matters worse in terms of attendance. They hardly pull 400 game now, why move from a central location unless the city is going to give them free rent?

The proposed muli-purpose facilty will also have ice rinks. The Bandits will relocate if built. It is not being built "specifically for them". I agree this will NOT help attendance. It is difficult enough being out at Chesterfield, moving farther from the city is NOT the answer.

The new proposed rink is to be at the hwy 64/40 Winghaven exit. To the right is a movie theater and the property in front of the theater is where the rink would be built.

I heard its about the facilities, bandits want to be in ushl, but chesty lockerrooms etc are below USHL standards. What about the family arena?

The family arena is just too big of a venue, too costly to keep ice for MAYBE a couple hundred fans.

USHL teams arenas must seat 2500 or more thats why chesty won't work for the bandits. Plus all USHL games are played on regulation size ice no more Olympic ice advantage.

what does the newer St. Peters rink seat?
