New off-ice training skates by Newron SportJuly 23 2009 at 5:12 PM | Anonymous (no login) |
| Have you seen the Newron off-ice Skates yet?
They are incredible and replicate the same stride as an ice skate. Hard to believe I know. Every kid I have seen skating with them is shocked on how well they replicate an ice skate.
They come as a full boot ($389) or you can just get the frames ($180) and have your proshop fit them to your old skates.
You can find them on www.inlinewarehouse.com |

Uh, it's called inline hockey. |

I know it's inline but with ice skating benefits. Put it this way. If you take your son to the rink and skate for 30 minutes around the rink he will get pretty much the same results as skating with these skates for 30 min on a bike trail.
I know it's hard to believe. That's why I wouldn't get my son a pair but now I'm glad I did. He loves them and it's saving me time at the rink
I recommend you all try them out

Tell me, what age is the little tike? If you are out on the "path " with little Ruprick, why can't you get on the ice with him at open skate?
