There are currently 9 teams declared at AA. Affton is the only club with 2 teams. Chesterfield chose to go with 2 A1 teams. Guess the parents of last years team complained enough.

It wasn't screwed up. The AA silver teams were clearly better than the teams in the A1 league. The 2 best teams ended up in the championship tourney and the best team won. The extra CHA and ST Pete teams benefitted from playing the Gold teams and had plenty of competitive games in the league. The younger CHA team was playing pretty well by end of the year and will be a force in SquirtAA this year. Will be interesting if the CHA majority 2000 CS team will play them.

OK here is my prediction on this crazy board. I will warn U I have had toooo many vodka tonics tonight, but what good Squirt parent hasn't?

Squirt AA
Chesty: #1- winner, winner chicken dinner
Kirkwood or Webster: #2 lots of talent, very good team of 2nd year kids
Affton#1: #3 who knows what's left after the fallout?
Southern Illinois: #4 See Meramec
St. Peters: #5 do they still play hockey out there?
Meramec: #6 See Southern Illinois
Twin Bridges: #7 holding on by a shoe string
Affton #2: #8 benders unite
Chesterfield #2: Really? did you think you could play AA? REALLY? REALLY?

Are they all still 10 years old? YEAH. Do we all care? YEAH Will you respond? YEAH.

Am I a drunk dad and on the internet? You make the call... Go 10 year olds!!! Try to stop me now....

CHA 1 definately 1st, then Affton 1, then St Pete. KW/Rockets merger is benders unite...4th. The rest will be a toss up. Affton lost alot of quality players but added lots of mediocre kids as well.

CHA CS smoked by 99AAA in back to back beatings. Those 2000s are definitely competitive.

Hey 1:59 am....regarding the Affton fallout...I don't know if I would call losing 3 Affton players a fallout. But I do know this..2 would have made the first AA team and one would have made the second. Sad to see the three kids go, sure won't miss some of the parents though.

Affton Squirts lost 2 99's to AAA, 4 to Affton's CS and 3 2000s to Chesty CS. So really, 9 kids who might have been on one of the Affton Squirt AA teams this season are playing somewhere else. All of these kids could be back at anytime. There is always a little movement when you get to the Squirt division because of the CS and AAA. People get over yourselves. Who cares. Are your kids happy where they are? Great if not, I'm sorry you made whatever decision for your kid. Good luck to all teams this season. None of them will ever play in the NHL. Enjoy them while they are playing this game. Have fun with the other parents. Stop burning bridges and be a positive role model for your kid.

You don't know who will play in the NHL and who won't....knock that crap off, it's a good thing the Janssen, Vitale, Bishop, Maroon families did not think the way you do....

You are right. At squirts it is anyones guess but players are starting to show what they have. I know the best 93 for example did not even play AAA until peewees and once he started playing AAA really took off.

Where you play until midgets really does not matter. But the players you mentioned were all very special players even at the younger ages. I think Maroon is gonna make the pros.

There are lots of kids with dreams, it starts to get sorted out at peewees and bantams and really comes into focus at midgets.

The players you mentioned were all superb players at the top of their birth year at early ages.
