Here is a question for all of you so knowledgeable postersAugust 26 2009 at 11:17 PM | Anonymous (no login) |
| Why are the 99 AAA Blues refusing to play either the Chesterfield or Affton CS teams? What is the problem? If they have the best players (?) and parents who can afford it, why be afraid to play other local teams? |

Yes, it's obvious. Tier II players are generally less skilled, rather unathletic and simply can't hang with the athletic kids who can play at the Tier I level. That's life and no big deal one way or the other. |

To the original poster: The answer is rather quite simple and everyone who knows anything about hockey understands this. It is all about the COACHES EGO!!!
I mean really, could you imagine what it would do to a team.... heaven forbid, losing to a team of less skill. The psychological damage it would do to the parents..... I mean players. It would most likely cause them to never play hockey again. The season would be a complete failure.

Heard 99 AAA coach is pulling all strings possible to keep his team and Affton CS out of the same bracket at Nike/Bauer in Chicago. |

Original poster needs to grow up. Although we are afraid he suffers from the following:
Napoleon complex is a colloquial term describing an alleged type of inferiority complex which is said to affect some people, especially men, who are short in stature. The term is also used more generally to describe people who are driven by a perceived handicap to overcompensate in other aspects of their lives. |

I think that the AAA team is playing the Chesterfield CS team, but the rumor is that they won't play Affton. I'm not sure if that is true or not, but it's what I hear. But AAA and Chesterfield are playing this weekend. |

What a bunch of morons.... last I checked, it was still August.

Still people debating whether Affton is going to have a AAA club even though they CAN NOT do it. Just is not possible.
Why dont we see if they actually play. |

The kids like to play each other at these levels, they do it every week in mid-states. It takes adults to mess it up and create reasons for the kids not to play. |

CHA can not develop their own talent so they rely on everyboyd else to supply them and then take credit and still can not seem to do very well in most of the CS ages. | |
