You sound like a critic that weighs success only by wins and losses,a lot more goes into a season of young men growing up than the {bottom line}wins and losses.
But by your own standards the Selects were a success last weekend right,admit it!

Hey there are lots of teams to play out there. You could play teams ranked 130 or below and win a lot of games. If thats what your team wants to do, knock yourself out.

if your kid isnt good enough to be on the first 2 lines then the selects is a option.

Do most of you just enjoy being a jackoff. Does it come naturally or do you have to work at it? I dont see any Selects parents bashing anyone on any of these blogs. Who you kidding 7:17? Playing for the U16 blues top lines is more about who you know than how you play. You take a group of 93s and 94s that finished just outside the top ten and you create a team of Central States players that will be lucky to crack the top 25 by the end of the year.

What does it tell you when you kid plays on a top line there and the team struggles? Tells me that your kid doesn't belong playing AAA.

Not sure on that. They have not posted it and this roster was just gathered from the nike bauer tourney website. I do know they have some good 93's.

Nice group of families having fun, have not heard one of them say anything negative about their season. Start ups take some time time to get going.

It is nothing about starting up or taking time. This team like any other is about talent and coaching. The select u18 team had a fine year last year because they had the talent.

The Cavallini's ARE very good coaches.

But they had the talent last year because the year before the Cavallini's coached the u16 AAA Blues and were able to get many of those players to play for them on their U18 slect team last year.

You look at the players who carried that team and they were players were AAA Blues players for various lengths of time.

Now he has a few players on the U18 team who could have made the blues and none on the u16 team. Last year with the success it was because of the talent. Coaching was good last year and is this year, that has not changed.

Cavallinis force the blues to be as good as they can be or kids have viable alternative. Know for a fact some kids did not play on the U18 blues because of an assistant coach or two.

Gino coaches the 18Us. Paul is the general manager and Mike Zuke coaches the 16Us. Gino and Paul DO NOT coach the 16Us nor do they show up at their games, the only time the 16Us see Gino is at a combined skate , 16Us and 18Us. which happens about 1-2 xs a mth. You asses on here have no idea. Yes, the 16Us would benefit greatly from Gino, if that was possible.

and there are 3 or 4 kids on the Selects that make AAA U16 if the tryout is independent and unbiased.

Well we will know that what if and many others in life. But I do know this. Bil is all about winning and his last line or two of players has some "real thin" playing times. If your kid was good enough to crack his top two lines he would have taken them. He all about winning.

So if what you say is true, your kid is probably happier being a top kid on the selects than a bench warmer on Bil's team. So see, everybody is happier!!!

Not all Select players tried out for AAA. Just because they dont play AAA, does not mean they are without talent. I know of one Select player Bill wanted, even asked him to try out, but he decided not to. You keep generalizing all players into groups. People make decisions on alot of things. Just not winning games
