hello all
Paul (Ian) from Fools Gold, I feel that i must set the record straight as regards the battle of the tribute bands. Once again the nonsense begins, not in our camp. We've seen it before and all the evidence is there that someone no names mentioned is attempting to sell tickets NOT for Fools Gold, by whatever means necessary. Promoters in the business are aware and saddened by the fact that some people will go to any lengths to sabbotage a night out for Roses Fans re our Barrowlands show. Think about it why would Fools Gold start a rumour about the Barras in the first place if we weren't playing there we would look like fools! In adition to this they suggest that we called upon this eloborate hoax to foil ticket sales for the TCSR's.

Think about it for a minute if tou care, cause we find it sad, desparate and sickening that anybody could pull such a stunt on the roses fan's you and me.

(could financial gain play a part in it?)

who would start this **** in the first place, i wonder!!

So as planned the night went ahead with over a 1000 people having a ball. We would like to thank the Baggy Mondays for another great performance and we look forward to playing with them again at Nottingham Rock City on 16th April, Aberdeen on 4th May and Manchester and Liverpool Unitversities on 17th and 18th May respectively, hope you can make some of these shows and enjoy them, hope you can see the TCSR's and enjoy them. We all love the Roses and do we care who is the best.

Take it eeezy and see you at the shows!

Cheers,
Fools Gold

In fairness, as I said to Peter..

I know there a vibe 'tween you's two bands, but please, don't have it out on here.

No diss to either of you's, but I like ES to be a harmonious place.

Nowt wrong with a bit of light banter here and there, as long as it's not libellous..!

Cheers for the review there..See you in MCR..

Peace.

Nah man..Nowt wrong with banter mate..
It's just..

Oh you know what I mean..

I had a go at Peter for it, so I couldn't just say nothing..

As I told Peter, nothing wrong with a bit of healthy competition banter, as long as noone falls out and has it out on here.

Sure man..We'll be around in the afternoon, I would have thought..
Catch ya then..

Tell Paul I got those foto's of his sticks on Reni's drum.
