----------

We are before one of the most important groups of the British pop scene of end of the 80 and principles of the 90. The Stone Roses formed in Manchester, in 1985. The original formation was Ian Brown (vocalista), John Squire (guitar), Andy Couzens (guitar), Pete Garner (under) and Alan John "Reni" Wren (battery), although Couzens and Garner left the band soon. Gary "Mani" Mounfield replaced to Garner in the low one, and immediately afterwards single of the Stone Roses was published first, "Under Young" (Thin Line Record, 1987). But late, in 1995, before beginning the tour of promotion of its second album, Reni also left the group, and was replaced by Robbie Maddix, until then battery of Rebel MC.

The musical race of Stone Roses completes with numerous singles and 5 albums of study: "The Stone Roses" "The Second Coming" "Turns to Stone" "The Complete Stone Roses"(recopilatorio) and" Flower Garage ".

In October of 1996, when announcing John Squire their intention to leave the band, the Stone Roses dissolved. From Squire it continued here with a new band, The Seahorses, whereas Ian Brown began its race in solitaire.

Might've known Will would have it !!

On the subject, I wonder how many rare Roses pics out there we haven't seen ?

Might not be enough for a 'Beatles Anthology' style publication, but there must still be plenty of rare shots.

Would be great to see a few more publications like that Stone Roses Document eh?
