Ive reached the end of my teather with modem.. AOL have definately slowed down the connection ( probs to force people to get broadband). I switced to tiscali, but still crap.

SO Mick, can you reccommend the cheapest way to switch over.

All depends on what your options are..
NTL would be a good choice in my opinion, depends if you have NTL's cables down.
BT's ADSL will go down a BT line.
I believe Tiscali will do a 128k always on for 20 quid a month..
Saying all that, AOL provide Broadband too..

I was on Pipex until I moved flats and got cable broadband. £23 per month, plus modem costs, good service, I'd definitely recommend it. 35Mb webspace and pop accouts too.
