Obviously written either a while ago, or by a dozy 'researcher'. The bones of it is a quote from John which says :

I Don't listen to the Roses records and I haven't decided which ones I will do yet. But I wrote most of Second Coming and I think I did all of Waterfall, so that one would be a good one to do. I really like the riff in Driving South too, so I could do a rootsy version of that.

Maybe this could mean John may play this on his tour next year..? Fingers crossed.

Yeah..Funny..!

Here's the full article.. Verbatim..!

Legendary ex - Stone Roses guitarist John Squire is planning to play some of Mancunian's band's greatest hits while on tour.
Fans from the Madchester days will be delighted to hear he's been practising Roses classics such as Second Coming and Waterfall.

He said :
There are a few songs I would Like to play and I have thought about it a lot.

Squire's tour of UK and Ireland takes place in january and February 2003.

<I hope he DOES play that Roses classic, Second Coming..!>
