Dear Subscriber:

As we mentioned earlier this week, the commemoration of the
50th
Anniversary
of the Korean War is picking up steam.

Another update we would like to mention is the addition of two
interviews to
Special Features. They include a story on Vincent Krepps,
recently featured
on a segment of NBC Nightly News "Forgotten Heroes." Vincent and
his twin
brother, Richard, fought in the Korean War. Richard died in
captivity in a
POW camp. Vincent is a member of the Korean War Veterans
Association and
editor of The Graybeards, the official publication of the KWVA.

Another story features Harley Coon, national president of the
KWVA, and an
ex-POW of the Korean War, held in captivity for nearly three
years. Mr.
Coon travels nationally and internationally as a guest speaker
talking on
the
topic on the Korean War and issues concerning veterans.

Both stories are moving and reflect the hardships each of the
veterans had
to endure.

Coon's Interview: http://korea50.army.mil/interviews/coon.html

Once again, thanks for visiting our web site and honoring our
Korean War
Veterans.

Sincerely,

The 50th Anniversary of the Korean War Commemoration Committee
